My name is Sarah Day Knowlton, and I am the adoring aunt of Alexander James Day. This past weekend we received the most devastating news that Alex had tragically passed away as a result of an auto accident while visiting Chicago, IL. We are in utter disbelief that this bright, shining star of a human is no longer with us. Together with the Day & Harris families and countless friends, we have created this platform as a means to celebrate him and memorialize his place in our community. Proceeds collected will be used to fund the Alexander James Day Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will provide financial assistance for higher education or trade programs based on character, academic achievement, and involvement in extracurricular activities. Using this criteria, a graduating Senior from St. Edward High School, in Lakewood, Ohio, will be selected that most embodies who Alex was and what he meant to so many in this world.
