It is with a heavy heart that I am asking for help for my sister Javia, the wife of Alex and mother of their three year old twins Arwyn and Eli.

After a 6 month battle with terminal cancer we lost Alex at 35 years old, a brave and gentle soul, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a best friend and a cherished, kind individual. Our hearts are breaking with this loss.

I am asking for help to gather funds for Javia as a newly widowed single mother of two. Javia and Alex recently moved from Pemberton BC to Salmo BC in July 2022 and two weeks later discovered Alex had only months to live. Among the heartache there are a lot of things to pay for and their plans to have a double income to pay for the increasing mortgage rate on their home is a huge burden on top of the pain. I wish for my sister to have the time she needs to heal so she doesn’t have to choose to go back to work full time and pay for full time child care. I’m hoping we can give Javia a few months to take care of her mental health and take care of her broken hearted children.

Any amount of financial support given is much appreciated in this great time of need and sadness. Every little helps.
