Hi my name is Sarah and Megan is my best friend of 25 years! With her and her husbands permission I am able to share their story and hopefully will be able to give them some sort of relief with medical bills and driving back
and forth while they care for their oldest son while he is in the hospital.
Alexander (Alex) Hader son of Ryan and Megan (Weber) Hader was on his way to work Thursday morning October 31st, 2019. Megan received a call from the tracker she has on her kids phone, Life 360, that Alex was involved in a motor vehicle accident. After many attempts to contact Alex, Megan called the Humphrey Fire and Rescue who had her call the Platte County Sheriff to get information. All she was told was that he was on his way to Columbus Hospital. While enroute to Columbus, they received the call that he was being life flighted to Bryan LGH in Lincoln. Alex has been on a ventilator since leaving Columbus and has a frontal lobe Traumatic Brain Injury, bilateral lung contusions and a fractured upper jaw. He needs to have surgery on his face, but have to wait for his neurological status to be cleared for surgery. He may end up needing a permanent shunt placed. Not only the life flighted bill and the long hospital stay in the ICU, Alex will be heading to Rehabilitation. Medical bills are already adding up and Megan has not been back to work since that nightmare phone call. Ryan has been by her side, driving back to Norfolk occasionally to make sure Andrew, Austen, Aiden, Ashten and Addesen are taken care of and even bringing them to and from Lincoln to visit their brother. They are a close knit family and they are all struggling with this. Please consider donating and if you are unable to at this time, please share this link and keep them in your thoughts and prayers! Thank you!!!!
