I am reaching out to request your help in raising funds for Jocelyn Noksana and her son, Alexander Emaghok. Just 4 years old, Alexander was medivaced to the University of Alberta Stollery Hospital in Edmonton, where he has been diagnosed with a rare condition known as Intestinal Lymphatic Malformation. This serious condition requires Sclerotherapy, and the doctors have advised Jocelyn that they will need to remain in Edmonton for several weeks for treatment.

Jocelyn has five other children to care for back home, and being away from them adds an unnecessary financial burden to her family. At this critical time, Jocelyn should not have to worry about financial security; her focus should solely be on Alexander’s healing and recovery.

Jocelyn is a dedicated mother and a cherished member of our community in Tuktoyaktuk. She works tirelessly to support her family and is one of my closest friends.
