My name is Anastasia Edwards. I am raising funds, in memory of our son Alexander Cucos (2005-2026), to enable Kingsdale Foundation School’s musicians to travel to the United States to participate in music competitions and to foster their musicianship. The funds will also enable Kingsdale to buy a commemorative musical instrument to display in the school’s music department.

Alex was a talented Jazz pianist, percussionist, and composer who attended Kingsdale between 2017 and 2022. Born in London, Alex was a dual UK-US national. At the time of his death, he had just finished a successful year at Fordham University in New York, where he had been planning to major in music.

Alex loved discovering his American roots and sharing his love for New York and American Jazz with his British childhood friends. The Alexander Cucos Memorial Kingsdale School Musician Fund will keep alive Alex’s Jazz spirit and support other young people in fulfilling their own musical dreams.
