Alexa's Mission Trip to Haiti

There are more than 151,000,000 orphans in the world today and only 250,000 will be adopted each year. At this rate, it would take over 600 years to adopt each of the world’s current orphans, not including the 1,750 children that continue to be orphaned every day. The sad truth is that most orphans will not be adopted! That is why Coreluv International was founded in 2009 with the sole purpose to defend the orphan. The dream of Coreluv International is to bring the hope of Jesus to orphans by partnering with communities and orphanages around the world to provide 6 basic needs: clean water, food, education, healthcare, job skills, and a loving environment to call home.
From August 13-17th, I’m excited to be headed to Haiti to serve in a life-changing mission trip with Coreluv International. While in Haiti, I will be working with a team to provide care to the children Coreluv is responsible for as well as serving the poor within the most impoverished community within Haiti.
A little backstory, I had been doing some soul searching, and I knew I needed to reevaluate how I was living out my walk with Christ. I began praying and asking God to show me a way for Him to use me. Very shortly after, I heard about Coreluv I knew immediately it was the calling I had been waiting for and the planning of it all just fell perfectly into place. God is so good.
I am still working on fundraising for this trip. Please consider supporting me financially. My trip will cost about $2900 and I am trusting God to supply for His work. This will cover my transportation, training, and my sleeping arrangements for the trip. I recommend a gift of $50, $100 or $150, but of course, any amount is more than welcome.
