Sara, Kris, Karlo, and Axel, along with many friends and family, said goodbye to Alexa yesterday.

The Clark's are so grateful for all the love they've received this past week. The support the community has given them means more to them than they can express.

Thursday, March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day. If you would like to donate in Alexa's memory, any amount is so much appreciated.

We will keep the GoFundMe open until the end of the week for those who would still like to give.

We have created this fundraiser to support the Clark family while they navigate this very difficult time to ease some of the financial burden they will now face with the loss of their daughter and sister, Alexa.

Alexa Maria Clark passed away on Sunday, March 10th. She was the center of the Clark family. She was the light of Kris and Sara’s lives and the best big sister to Karlo and Axel. Alexa never allowed Down Syndrome to define her. She lived her life fully every day. Whether she was uploading one of her famous Tik Tok’s, swimming with her Calgary Dolphins Swim Club, or cheering on her brothers at their hockey games, she did it with enthusiasm. Alexa was always smiling and loved to be the boss. One of her best friends was her little dog Apollo who will miss his roommate so much. She touched so many people in her short life, making everyone she met a better person. 

Sara, Kris, Karlo, and Axel’s worlds were broken when they lost their precious Alexa last Sunday. No parent should have to bury their child. As they move forward, they will need some financial assistance so they can take proper time to grieve their daughter and sister. If you would like to help out in any capacity and would like to give, the family would be so appreciative.

There will be a viewing for Alexa on Friday, March 15th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McInnis & Holloway 12281 – 40th Street SE and the funeral will take place on Saturday, March 16th at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish at 12:30 pm.
