Alexa Glover- Lets Fight Cancer Together

Hello family, friends and strangers.

This sweet child, Alexa Glover, is fighting a battle that no child should have to fight - the battle against the dreaded C word, Cancer. Alexa is the daughter of Brandon and Selina Glover. She is only 2 1/2 years old and was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

On Thursday, Alexa’s parents brought her to Gander to get blood work after feeling unwell for a few days. They knew something wasn’t right, but they did not expect to be told to rush to the Janeway right away. They left Gander with no diagnosis and proceeded to St. John’s to the Janeway where a team was waiting for them. They would be told later that evening that Alexa has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

Alexa is currently at the Janeway; she has completed many tests and procedures that no child should ever have to endure. She is a brave little trooper who has already received one chemo treatment and she rallied through it showing her strength to both her parents and staff. She will remain in the hospital for the next couple of weeks receiving further treatment as an inpatient. Once her inpatient course is complete, her ongoing treatment plan is projected to last two years. The road will be long and there may be bumps along the way, but Alexa is prepared to fight, and her family is here to support her.

We have started this Go Fund Me account to help ease the burden for her parents, Brandon and Selina. Over the coming days, weeks, and months there will be countless procedures, hospital stays and treatments and this combined with the everyday cost of living will be extremely expensive. This account will allow Alexa’s parents to focus on Alexa getting well and fighting this awful disease, ALL.
