On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Alex was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He suffered skull and facial fractures, lacerations to his liver and lungs, and a fractured right hip. He also suffered serious fractures to both his femur and tibia. Aaron, 25, had bleeding in the brain and cerebral inflammation. Thankfully, the bleeding has stopped and the inflammation has subsided some, but not completely. On Thursday, October 22nd he underwent surgery to have a metal rod inserted through both his femur and tibia. Aaron was on a ventilator for one week before undergoing a tracheostomy. He is currently being fed through a feeding tube due to him not yet being able to swallow. His trauma doctor has said that he will require neurological rehabilitation to help with his brain injury, as well as physical therapy to help him walk again.

We cannot imagine not doing everything we possibly could in order to make sure Alex gets the best medical treatment he can, so we are asking for your help. Your kind donation will go directly to our family to help deal with the financial repercussions of his current condition.
