Alex Wood Accident Recovery
On Friday, August 27, Alex was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He suffered a concussion, hematoma to his head, a laceration to his head, which required 6 stitches, a contusion to his eye, and 6 broken ribs. He is very lucky to be alive.
Alex is always willing to help anyone. Most of us know him from his days at Plum Tomato or his current position as butcher at Salem Prime Cuts, or as a volunteer at Gardner Lake Fire Department. Alex hates to ask for help for himself, and never does, but today, he needs our help to recover from this accident, and pay some medical bills.
With his injuries, Alex will be out of work for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks. He's recuperating well, and will have his stitches removed soon. He's very stressed about taking care of himself financially, paying rent, utilities, food, and other expenses, as well as any medical bills not covered by insurance.
We have all lived vicariously through Alex as he traveled across the country on his beloved Harley Davidson Street Glide, from Pennsylvania, through Wisconsin, Minnesota (to see the Jolly Green Giant), Devil's Tower in Wyoming, and to Sturgis, South Dakota. Now he needs our help to get through this accident and recover. If you can afford to make a donation, no matter the amount, it is greatly appreciated!
