Alexander Wenthe, 31, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Born on January 29, 1994, in Green Bay, WI, to Greg and Tricia Wenthe (Zierhut). Alex was a beloved son, brother, partner and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to support the following in his honor: Sharing & Caring Hands, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and International Bipolar Foundation.
Alex had many passions. He loved to cook and found joy in preparing meals for family and friends. He cherished family time, particularly their Sunday dinners, and was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. Alex loved the outdoors, especially when hunting with his dog, Rory, and took great pride in caring for his lawn. Alex had a love for computers and technology, and enjoyed spending time with friends, often sharing his interests and knowledge with those around him.
Alex’s memory will continue to live on through the love he gave, the passions he pursued, and the many lives he touched. He was kind, generous, goofy, full of life, and brought joy to all who knew him. He will be forever loved and dearly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Church of the Annunciation, 509 W 54th St, Minneapolis, MN 55419. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with a lunch to follow.
