Alex Trauth-Goik knee surgery

Feared by many on the mats, but loved by all off the mats- Alex is going through a rough time early in his new life in Austria. But he doesn’t have to go through it alone, because he has us! The people he’s always there for, those who he has inspired on his journey so far, and those feeling generous that want to help a great person out.

Just days before he was set to fly to Rome to compete in the European IBJJF championship, he suffered a catastrophic knee injury. For all that know jiu jitsu and know Alex, you can imagine how upsetting this would be.

He lost money on flights, accommodation, registration etc.

Due to the severity of his injury he now has to undergo emergency knee surgery through the private health system of Austria- with an expected cost of >$6000 AUD.
