Alex Spencer Memorial

An amazing young family could use all the help they can get after the incredibly sudden, unexpected, and shocking loss of their husband and father.

Alex Spencer went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 8th. He leaves behind a loving wife, Brittany Ann Spencer; two young boys who he adored, Zander (7) and Kendall (4); and scores of family, friends, and co-workers who loved him dearly.

Alex was a deputy with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky. He was an avid participant in karate, a determined weightlifter, and he loved his heavy metal. He was a cherished member of the August Burns Red fan community, and a genuinely nice guy who loved his family and treated everyone with decency and care.

His family and friends are, understandably, reeling. Please rally together in this time to at least lessen the financial burden of all that is to come in the coming days, weeks, and months. This unfathomable tragedy will have a profound impact on his families’ lives, and we would love to do whatever we can to lessen their burden.

Rest in Peace, Alex! We love you forever and you will be missed dearly.
