Alex was a man of God and USMC! Our family is heartbroken and we are devastated by the loss of our brother, son, husband, cousin and friend. He was the most caring person in this world and someone who always made an impact on those around him. There wasn't a person who ever met Alex, who didn't automatically fall in love with him. He was a good person with a big heart. In times of loss, people always speak the best of individuals but in Alex's case, it is all true. Everyone loved him so much and we are all in mourning. Alex's soul was like no other and you could feel his presence even when he was silent. He was very generous and the the type of person who would give his last two dollars without hesitating, if someone was in need. Alex was looked up to, admired, deeply loved and will forever be greatly missed. He had recently gotten married and had such a bright future ahead of him. Now, we are given the difficult task of processing his loss and planning his funeral.
We have set up this GoFundMe page to help cover Alex's burial expenses. The USMC will generously be providing a set amout, which will go towards burial expenses, however not all expenses will be covered. Currently all surrounding National cementaries available within a reasonable distance are full, and we as his family, would like to have him close to us, so that we can visit him. He has a lot of family and we want everyone to have access to his final resting place
