Alex Robinson's Debut Jazz Album!

Hi! My name is Alex Robinson. I’m a jazz vocalist, composer, and arranger.

I’m thrilled to share that this summer I will be recording my debut album!

I love jazz music for its spontaneity and creativity. I love that it allows each musician to showcase their individual artistry while complementing and uplifting one another. It also allows me to explore what it is that makes us human, and share those discoveries with others.

This album will feature my arrangements of well known (and a few not-so-well-known) standards, as well as original compositions. I hope that listeners of this album come away with a profound sense of joy. My favorite recordings make me feel more in touch with myself and the world around me, so I want to do the same for others with my work.

Recording and releasing an album is expensive. Beyond the obvious costs such as compensating the musicians and renting the studio, there are many other expenses including mixing and mastering, graphic design, and manufacturing. It all adds up quickly - that is where you come in!

Each person who donates $15 or more to the campaign will receive a download of the album as soon as it is released, as well as an invitation to a virtual pre-release listening party.
