Alex Nicholson

Alex Nicholson is an 19yr old who loves fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, gardening, swimming & is a gamer. He is very intelligent & has a creative mind. His ingenuity is endless. He is a quiet & reserved, tender-hearted young man & has a very funny side. His parents are Tom Nicholson & Jacinda Nicholson.

In June of 2020, he was misdiagnosed with DVT (blood clots) which has restricted his activities of daily living significantly. His right thigh is 4 times the size of his left, as well as his calf and foot. Most recently, in March 2023, he was diagnosed with Leoimyosarcoma,(LMS) a very rare and aggressive cancer. His right thigh, pelvis & lungs have been affected as well. He was on an aggressive chemotherapy regimen at the Tausigg Cancer Center at Cleveland Clinic. The chemo was unsuccessful therefore as of 8/11/23 he was accepted into The Nationwide Childrens clinical trial program in Columbus Ohio.

As you can imagine, this diagnosis turns a family’s life upside down. The trips every week to Columbus will be very costly.
