In May of 2020, Alex Mussa died unexpectedly, leaving behind his wife Micaiah Mussa and their two sons Noah (5) and Ezra (1). .
Born and raised in Indiana to Sam and Krista Mussa, Alex met Micaiah in middle school where they kindled a friendship and later started dating in high school. After graduating from Purdue at the top of his class, Alex and Micaiah moved to Georgia where he began his career and they started a beautiful family. Alex was a committed and loving father who enjoyed playing outside and taking the boys on adventures. Alex loved music, drumming, the beach, and was a strong contributor to his career in engineering. Though only 28 at the time of his death, Alex had completed his Master's degree, was granted a patent, and taught classes at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Alex recently received a post mortem STAR award for his outstanding work.
The loss of Alex as a father and husband continues to be an emotional rollercoaster for Micaiah, Noah and Ezra who are now living with Alex's grandparents in Atlanta, Georgia while they prepare their family home for sale, and begin their journey of healing and recovery from this terrible and unexpected loss. As Alex was the former sole financial provider to the Mussa family, Micaiah is now hoping to complete her bachelors degree to establish her own career, while maintaining a loving and healthy home foundation for Noah and Ezra.
The Mussa Memorial Fund will help Alex's surviving family to build a stable financial future given unanticipated needs related to rent and or the purchase of a new home, childcare costs, schooling costs, clothing and food.

A memorial service will be planned for 2021 to celebrate Alex's life after the risk of COVID diminishes.
Micaiah, Noah, and Ezra are grateful for your generous support.
