Alex Kendziewski recover from being assaulted.

Hello,

 

On the 7th of June Alex Kendziewski attended the open mic at One World Brewing and totally crushed it.

 

That night however we had to kick a very rude and disrespectful man named Ryan out. Alex stepped up when Ryan refused to leave and told him very politely that "it was time to go" and then escorted him outside. Alex came back down to say goodbye and then left for the evening.

 

The next morning we received word that Alex had been attacked from behind on the way back to his vehicle. His teeth were busted and he was cut and bruised. On top of that his guitar was stolen.

 

It is hard not to jump to conclusions about who might have done this to him. While we have no definitive proof We have our suspicions and have been working with local businesses and the APD on identifying the perpetrator and having arrested or run out of town.

 

In situations like this our heart goes out to Alex who has been a shining force in Ashevilles underground music scene. As a tight knit community we can't just sit idly by while Alex and his family are forced to bare the burden of this deranged person assaulting him and robbing him of his instrument.

 

We turn now to the rest of the community in helping one of our own financially recover from such a senseless and spineless act of aggression.
