Alex: Help Us Honor His Life

On April 25th, our world changed forever. Alex, a brilliant, complex, and deeply loved son, lost his life in a devastating encounter with police at our home.

Alex struggled in ways few could see from the outside. But those close to him knew his brilliance, his drive, and his heart. Alex was fiercely intelligent, passionate about technology and the arts, had a wit that could light up a room, and was full of dreams that often outpaced the world around him.

We’re creating this fund to cover the funeral and memorial expenses, and to help us begin the long and difficult process of seeking clarity, accountability, and healing.
