My son Alex is not quite 32 years. He has had Type 1 Diabetes for 25 years. 2 months ago, he suddenly went blind from blood vessel hemorrhage in both eyes. He has had 3 surgeries with not much improvement in his eyesight.

He has been a Information System Specialist since graduating from Central Washington University. Computers are his life. There is a very slim chance he will ever be able to work in his field. We are trying to keep him in his apartment until he can get long term disability in 3 months. We hope, with the help from family and friends, we will be able to do so.
