Hi, my name is Steph. I am fundraising on behalf of Helen and Ste Halfpenny. Their son Alex tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Sunday (27/7/25) evening.

Alex was an amazing big brother to his sister Katie. He was a kind individual with an amazing soul. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Alex had just turned 21, he was looking forward to many family holidays during summer and camping with the scout group he helps at, and had been part of since he was 6.

He has overcome many challenges in his short life. he was born with DiGeorge syndrome, which is a genetic condition. Not only did he undergo heart surgery on the day he was born but also when he was 4. He has surpassed many peoples expectations during his life and even managed to achieve a gold award on Blackfoot hike, which is a 25km hike in rugged terrain.

All money raised will go towards funeral costs and any other expenses that may occur.
