I'm in search of some help for this young man. This guy who turned his car over on Honea Egypt last week is 19 years old. He has no family here, and no working cell phone, only one he keeps for a phone book. He had secured a second job and purchased that car for $1500. He has no money to get it out of storage from the wrecker nor get it fixed, and now no way to get to his second job. I ran into him at Papa Keith Gas Station on 2854 & Honea Egypt, where he approached me to ask to borrow my cell phone to contact someone to pick him up. And that's when I realized he was in desperate need of some help. That's when I decided to take him home to his place in Conroe, that he's renting. As he fought back tears, he told me about how he's trying to make it and without this car there's no way he can get to his 2nd job. He has another job at a glass company in Conroe that he can ride his bike to, but he was really counting on the second evening job to get ahead and be able to pay his bills. He had saved up $1500 to purchase the car that is now wrecked beyond repair. He is my son's age and I just can't imagine him out there trying to make it alone without any family to lean on for help.
