Hi Everyone my name is Alex Garza and I am currently waiting in the hospital, in San Diego, for a Heart Transplant. My wife Chelsea and 2 children Caroline and Elijah, are back at home in Indio waiting for me to come home.

I am waiting for a Donor Heart that will match my blood type, Height Weight, Age and many other markers to perfectly match my body so there is little to no rejection.

As you can imagine, a heart transplant surgery and all thats involved in the process will completely max out my medical insurance for the next 2 years, requiring me to pay the max out of pocket for both this year and next. Although it won’t take 2 years to find a heart, it will be lots of back and forth visits to the hospital in San Diego over the course of the next year.
