Alex Davidson's Brain Injury Recovery
Donation protected
Alex Davidson is the son of Tony and Stephanie Davidson and brother of Caitlin Davidson. He is a 16 year old soon to be Junior at Washburn High School, where he is a friend to everyone. He works at Holt's IGA in Bean Station, TN and loves his job there.
Saturday May 9, 2020 started out like any other Saturday. Alex got up early to report to his job as a stocker/bag boy at Holt's IGA in Bean Station TN. After work he made a snack run to Dollar General and left there to make his way to his Mamaw's house. He was traveling southbound on Highway 25E near Lakeshore Drive when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle rolled several times and Alex was ejected from his vehicle. He was then airlifted to UT Medical Center in Knoxville,TN. Here we learned he had broken his left femur, pelvis, cracked his left shoulder and had four broken ribs. Alex also suffered a traumatic brain injury which was the main concern for doctors. The Diffuse Axonal injury caused Alex to be unconscious and to remain "asleep" now. On Tuesday May 26 Alex was moved to Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. His family and friends have high hopes and faith in God that Alex will make a full recovery there!
The family is accepting donations to offset current and future medical costs. We realize some of you have already donated in other ways and the family greatly appreciates everything that has been done. Alex has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Greater than monetary donations the family requests your continued prayers for Alex.
Thank You
