Hi, my name is Alex. I'm raising funds for a powered wheelchair attachment that will help me regain independence and reduce the pain and fatigue I experience daily. I have Hypermobile Spectrum Disorder (HSD), a condition that affects my joints and mobility. As my symptoms have worsened, it’s become harder to manage even short outings without significant discomfort.

I currently use a mobility scooter for quick trips, but it doesn’t offer the postural support my body needs like my manual wheelchair does.

A powered attachment would transform my manual wheelchair into a more accessible and practical option — giving me the freedom to get out into the world without exhausting myself just trying to move around.

The model I’m hoping to purchase is the Rehasense Eco-Assist, which works perfectly with my current wheelchair and costs between £2750–£3000.
