Last year the opioid epidemic claimed the life of 63,000 Americans. Yesterday it claimed the life of my best friend and cousin. Anyone who knew Alex knew his sole purpose in life was to make everyone laugh. Nobody was prepared to lose their best friend, cousin or nephew at 31 years old. Nevermind a son who had so much life left to live. Although it will be a long time before his family will be able to laugh again I would like to raise some money to help them with the burden of his funeral expenses. We all know someone who has been impacted by this plague, whether you are battling the addiction yourself or suffering from pain that tears a family apart. Please help me reach my goal of $4,000.
