Alex Beating Burkitt

This summer has brought Alex Pulley an uncomfortable pain in his stomach, and taken him down a road involving a stress fracture in his tibia without an actual injury, MRIs, mysterious bone lesions, and a bone scan that showed those lesions were just gone. As he recovered from the stress fracture, his stomach pain progressed from uncomfortable to unbearable. He'd been to the doctor, but was still playing the waiting game to get in to see a gastroenterologist. The day he returned to work, his stomach hurt so badly he only lasted a couple hours before having to return home.
On August 5th, Alex was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma. Burkitt is an aggressive form of lymphoma that affects the B-lymphocytes. He was admitted to Sarah Cannon Cancer Center less than 24 hours later to continue testing and begin his first round of very intense chemotherapy.
Barely a month later, Alex has completed his 2nd round of 6 proposed chemo treatments and continues to keep a positive attitude toward his treatment and recovery.
Alex has been off of work since early summer and will not be able to return until the beginning of next year.
This gofundme was created at the request of his friends, family and coworkers to try to help off-set the cost of living and medical expenses not covered by insurance.
