The Kenpo family are banding together to help our brother who has touched the hearts of many and supported the club over the years.
For those who know Alex, he is quick with a smile and a welcoming embrace and is a much-loved mentor to kids in the Kenpo community. Alex is never too busy to help a friend in need, give guidance or simply listen no matter what is going on in his own life. His infectious laugh is a mainstay in the dojo. He is a wonderful dad, son and friend and an active member in the community and like many of us has not had an easy time during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Alex was retrenched early last year and despite having only recently recovered from severe burns, he and his 11-year-old son Braxton were involved in a serious motorcycle accident over Easter and are now recovering in hospital.

Anyone who has spent time with Alex will know just how precious his time with Braxton is and this separation will likely be the toughest part of his recovery.

We, his Kenpo brothers, and sisters would love to help them both on their way and support them physically and financially to get back on their feet. Alex has helped many people in his life, and we would love to give back to this great man during a difficult time.
Any donations are gratefully accepted on behalf of this fantastic bloke – thank you for digging deep.
