Two years ago, Alex and Thomas took on their very first challenge, inspired by the number 2024, to raise money for their school playground. Thanks to the incredible support they received, the money helped fund some amazing improvements, and they even managed to raise an incredible £2,424!
Now, in their final year at primary school, and preparing to move on to different high schools, they want to finish their time at St Peter’s with something really special.
This year, they’re going even bigger. Inspired by the number 2026, Alex and Thomas are taking on their own triathlon to raise money for their school.
Next Sunday they will:
Bike 20.26km
Jog 2.26km
Swim 26 lengths (650m)
All distances have increased (bike and jog nearly doubled, and the swim almost tripled!) since their last challenge, making this their biggest one yet!
We are trying to manage their fundraising expectaitons but they would love to beat the £2424 they raised in 2024 with your help.
NEWS**** Since hearing about Alex and Thomas' Challenge, Thomas' little 7-year-old brother Harry, also a St Peters pupil, has decided to join in!
Harry will swim 2 lengths of the pool, run 260m and bike 600m!
All money raised will go to the Friends of St. Peter’s School PTA, which recently funded a fantastic new outdoor classroom. The next step is to buy the equipment and resources needed so it can be used to its full potential, helping children learn, play and spend more time outdoors.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference.
Thank you so much for supporting Alex and Thomas on their final primary school challenge. We’ll be sharing updates and photos from the day as they complete their triathlon!
