Hello, my name is Rheanna and I am the granddaughter of Alex Adea Sr. I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of my family.

As many of you already know our beloved, Alex Adea Sr., recently passed away on Tuesday, June 13th. After battling multiple health conditions over the years, our Lord has decided it was time to call him to his forever home. We are all devastated to lose such a caring, supportive, loving man. He was a provider through and through and always put his wife and family first.

He had many life accomplishments and left behind a legacy many people can only dream of. Growing up in the provinces of the Philippines, he was determined to make a better life for himself. So he enlisted in the US Navy. He married his pen pal, Zenaida Adea, and they started their family. After serving for our country for 25+ years, he retired from the US Navy but continued to provide for his family and worked for the US Post Office until he retired again.

Alex Adea Sr leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Zenaida Adea; his 3 kids Alex Jr, Zarah, & Paul; his 8 grandchildren: Rheanna, Ashley (resting in peace), Rhenessa, Allyson, Joseph, Alayna, Arielle & Timothy; and his great grandchildren Jackson, Royce & Ashley Peach.

While the military covers most of his funeral services and after our family can collectively put together what we can, we are still short of $7,000. My grandpa was never one to ask for help. Instead, he was always the one providing help especially if it meant supporting his family. So we are here asking for help in return of his many acts of service & giving to others so that we can give him the proper burial he deserves.
