Alethea Liliuoakala Hopkins Burial and Celebration of Life

On January 30th, 2025, Our Mother's, Our Sister's, Our Tutu's, Our Auntie's, Our Friend's 'uhane (spirit) was set free. This GoFundMe donation account was created to support our mother's, Alethea Hopkins, burial arrangements and celebration of life.

We have decided against the traditional burial process and have opted for our Mother to be transformed into soil by Earth Funeral. Instead of burying or cremating, we thought of offering a living memory of her.

During our Mother's celebration of life, TBD, we will pre-plant a gift for you that will contain a portion of her soil transformation. If you are unable to make it, we can arrange a portion of the soil to be shipped to you. Please reach out to Kona or Arasharae to make arrangements. We have a wide array of crafts that our Mother made for you to take home as well.
