About 15 years ago I fell on the playground; smashing my face and severely impacting two teeth. One fell out  but the other tooth remained, and I thought it was fine.

A few years later I was scheduled to get braces. In one of my appointments I clearly remember telling my dentist "this one feels funny". I pointed to the impacted tooth, showing him how it wiggled slightly. He told me "its okay, just dont touch it".

Now, at age 21 the tooth has become quite discolored, and the gum is discolored as well. I can constantly feel a dull ache and a throbbing. There is a spot on my gum where a sort of pimple has formed and in the morning puss has leaked out.

My tooth is rotting and I don't know what to do.

It's too late for a root canal, the root has deteriorated.
Medical won't cover the cost of an implant. And if I simply remove the tooth, over time, the bone will recede.

All I know is that if I ignore this any longer it will only get worse; affecting other teeth or even my brain. (At least thats what someone told me once.)

I am ashamed to ask for help in this way, but it is the only thing I think of to do right now. I am so greatful for all the generous people in my life, and I know that one day I will return the favor.
