Alesha who had her car stolen on her birthday.
Donation protected
Sunday March 19th was my 28th birthday. I drove to Seattle with 2 friends and parked in a parking garage to spend the day at the Space Needle, Pac Science Center and a splurge dinner out. We came back to the garage to find only the door handle and some glass left from my car.
So far, the police have not found my car. I am thankful that I have insurance, but it may be a while before I get reimbursed, and as everyone knows, cars that are reliable are very expensive.
I have to have a reliable car. I have a 3 & 6 year old, and I work 2 jobs to get by. I pay my bills on time and am a responsible girl who loves her friends, her community and her church. I’ve just been put in a rough spot.
Some of you may be asking… why can’t my family help? I have no family to turn to, my mother has been in the hospital with strokes and undiagnosed issues since August, and I just don’t have any family to fall back on, other than some help from close friends.
I thank you for your consideration about donating to my car fund. I promise I will pay it forward in the future.
