So much has changed in the last year. Sebastian and I bought our first house and we both changed our jobs. He is now an industrial mechanic for Universal Studios and I am now a professional photographer. During that time we also got married. It has been a time of change and excitement as we start our lives together.
During this time we have really been pursing the Lord about our future as a family and about our leadership in ministry. For years Sebastian and I have been highly involved with Focal Point Church. We have volunteered photography and videography, we have lead different times of prayer, growth groups and overall giving our time to the Kingdoms purposes.
This coming February, Focal Point has given us an opportunity to minister to the people of Brazil as we travel deep in the Amazon to build a church for a small village. There is an organization in Brazil that we will be partnering with. They host missions throughout the year to insure that a church is provided to villages even in the most unreachable places. It is so secluded that we have to take a 3 hour boat ride down the river to get there. This organization has many testimonies about the gospel and prayer breaking out once the church is completed. They have even said that other surrounding villages will come to participate.
Not only do we get to put up walls and help in construction but Sebastian and I would be filming this experience. We would be documenting the trip in order to make mission videos so that we can show others His purposes going forth.
We would love to join Focal Point in this "Mercy" trip. Not only is this a once in a life-time opportunity, but this is a time to love on the people of Brazil as we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus. So many times we take for granted a place to worship and we are excited that we get to give that to the people of the Amazon.
The cost of the trip is $4000, it is $2000 per person. The total cost includes airfare, a place to stay, food, boat transportation for both Sebastian and myself. We would love if you would prayerfully consider partnering with us both financially and through prayer in this awesome adventure. We would be grateful for any way you could support us in this mission.
