Alem Ukbay Mehari Funerals and Memorial

Hello Friends, Family and Loved ones,

My name is Mike Asfaha, first cousin of Alem Ukbay Mehari. As you all know, Alem lost his battle to cancer on June 19th 2021.  His struggle with cancer began in 2013 when he was first diagnosed with Leukemia. He went through chemotherapy and by the mercies of God he beat the cancer.  Unfortunately he was diagnosed again with brain cancer in 2015 and underwent several bouts of chemotherapy as well as surgery and eventually cancer free! 
It was to all our surprise when he had a stroke on May 1st 2021. He was admitted to the hospital due to complications from the stroke and eventually passed on June 19th 2021.
I am his only living relative and i am setting this go fund me to help me raise funds to cover the funeral costs and memorial service. Alem was an amazing cousin and friend who was passionate about life and lived his life as such. I would love nothing more than to give him a befitting sendoff service.
