Alex's fight against Malaria

Just the other day I was talking to my dad. He was telling me how beautiful his hotel in Africa was, he also complained about a headache but he said not to worry that it would go away. My dad loves to be the tough guy, which is pretty hard when you have four daughters. I asked him to send me the name of the hotel. I was in a hurry to get to work and asked him to go to the doctor. He promised he would. We said our goodbyes, which normally are the longest part of our conversation; my dad will not get off the phone until he makes sure I know how much he loves me. If you have ever met Alex Uribe you know that he is the kindest and most loving person. Yesterday evening my mother called me and informed me that my father was fighting for his life against Malaria. He is currently hospitalized in Sudan, Africa with a severe case of Malaria. He is in the ICU and will be airlifted tonight to Nairobi, Africa. I know that my dad is fighting to live because he loves life so deeply. He is incredibly positive even in the worst of situations. Any contribution will help save his life. Please help us make it possible for him to be airlifted to a hospital that can provide the care he needs. At this point anything helps. Thank you for your kind words and thoughts.
