Alejandro Cottle's Kids Fund
Donation protected
Two weeks ago Alejandro (Ale, Biggmann) was doing what he loved most. He was sharing his love of art surrounded by family and friends. Yesterday, Ale was laid to rest, surrounded by hundreds of people who knew and loved him. All are still horrified by the senseless act which took his life and destroyed the lives of his family and friends.
Ale was a force of nature, a gentle giant and a friend to everyone he met. He lit up a room with his smile, warm hugs and big laugh. Anyone who knew Ale was blessed to have known him and be called family or friend!
Ale loved his family unconditionally and his loss leaves a gap that will never be filled. If you knew Ale, you knew how he felt about his children. He was often seen with his kids rolling in his car listening to tunes, eating pizza, rollerblading, out for hikes or trying to beat his butt on PlayStation! He leaves behind four children aged 8-20 years old. The eldest was seriously injured in the same cowardly act that took Ale’s life.
This GoFundMe is to directly take care of his children. Any contributions will be distributed equally to make sure they are OK and are taken care of the way Ale would want. Donations will be used for the following:
• His eldest son is unable to work and will need support as he gets back on his feet.
• Food and shelter
• Cost of being an elite student-athlete – equipment, shoes, camps etc…
• Clothing – like Ale, his children never stop growing!
• Savings – to be put aside for their education
• Fun – they are kids, so we want to make sure they still have fun!
My name is Tracy, I am Gigi (grandmother) to Ale’s boys and step-Gigi to his daughter. These children mean the world to me, and I know firsthand what a loving, involved and connected ‘Pops’ Ale was to his children. I have the permission of the children’s mothers and his eldest son to be responsible to manage this fundraising campaign on their behalf. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out.
