It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the unexpected passing of our dear friend and union brother , Alejandro Torres. Alex leaves behind his loving wife, Yadila, and his cherished son Thiago.

Alex was a dedicated member of IATSE Local 873 and had well established career in NABET prior to joining IATSE. He was known and highly appreciated for his outstanding Scenic ability, big heart , humour passionate personality and unwavering friendship. His kindness and warmth touched the lives of many. He was an amazing Father to his beautiful little guy Thiago, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. Alex was also a loving husband to his wife Yadila. They have a long way to go to deal with the loss of Alejandro. To support Yadila and Thiago during this difficult time . The Scenic Department has created this campaign in Alexs honour . The Fund will provide them with much needed assistance and support as they navigate during this difficult
