Alex Garcia was a kind, gentle soul that was taken from us too soon. He took great pride in his work and helped beautify several Clark County School District schools. Alex loved teaching children how to paint and was excited to have recently been allowed to take on an additional club at his middle school. He worked countless hours, often going in on the weekends to water the plants or to get some woodworking projects done so that staff had custom shelving for their classrooms. His coworkers were his family.
Alex was the sole provider for his parents as his stepfather was laid off at the start of quarantine. He always gave more than he took. He leaves behind his parents, two sisters, two dogs, and a cat that he loved dearly. His legacy will live on through his art work and in the hearts of the children he taught.
Contributions will be used for his funeral expenses and anything remaining will be set aside for the care of his beloved dogs and cat, Buddy, Tohui, and Memín.
Thank you,
The García Family
