On Sunday, July 12, 2020, Alejandra Rodriguez passed away at the age of 90, in her beloved city of Downtown Los Angeles. She leaves behind three children, eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a younger brother and a sister.
Sadly, Alejandra life was taken by COVID-19, but the memories she created will live forever. She was loved by so many people, and will be deeply missed.
Alejandra was one of a kind. She was a housekeeper for over 40 years, and only retired in 2006 after having survived breast cancer. Alejandra was extremely hardworking, strong, fearless, and independent. She was very giving, and never hesitated to helps others in need. Janda, as she liked to be called, never missed an opportunity to crack a joke, or make someone laugh. She was fun, hilarious, and such a social butterfly! She loved shopping (especially at Target), she loved her birds, she loved watching her Dodger's play, and she loved taking the kids to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.
This campaign was set up by Noel Velasquez, on behalf of Erika Ontiveros, Laura Rodriguez and the rest of Alejandra's family in response to requests from those looking to help the family in any way. The money raised through this page will help the family with the cost of the funeral services. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for you support during this difficult time.
