No one anticipates a loss, especially if you are a parent. But when it's your child that you lose physically, it hurts deeply.

It has been brought to awareness as a community that mental health, despair, and substance abuse have taken an unusual rise in many communities. It is becoming an uncomfortable but common conversation with a roll call listing the loss of family, friends, and co-workers whose lives are slipping out of their hands. Whether it is recreational, pain management or intentional suicide makes no difference. We are losing valuable lives.

Now we are facing the aftermath of an unseen loss. I, Valerie (aka High Priestess SuperVixen), am requesting your assistance in covering my daughter Lavinia Alegacey's funeral costs and initiatives to bring awareness of the need for connection to family, community and self.
