Aleen Esposito

Hi, I’m Kathy O’Brien and I’m fundraising for my best friend Aleen (Ali) who is fighting breast cancer and will be undergoing chemo and radiation. This all comes just weeks after Aleen lost her mom to the same.

Aleen and I have been best friends since the 3rd grade and when we’re together we can still giggle just like being at one of our slumber parties. She moved from Long Island to Florida when we were going into High School and we have remained close all these years. We have been each others maids/matron of honor and have been there for each other through all of life’s challenges. Even while juggling working full time as an elementary school teacher, being a wife and mother to twin babies and now teenagers, Aleen has always made time to pick up the phone and support me.

It kills me in times like this that I cannot be physically close and so the least I can do is to ask family and friends to please help me support Aleen and her family through this difficult time. Outside of potential lost income while Aleen cannot work, there are costs associated with treatment that are not covered by insurance.
