Remembering Alec Barbecho:Support Medical & Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals, Today, 6 April 2024, our precious little Alec Barbecho, just two years old, faced a terrifying ordeal as he was involved in a drowning incident. As a result, he is now fighting for his life in the intensive care unit (ICU). Our hearts ache as we watch our beloved baby struggle, hooked up to machines, his tiny body battling for every breath. Alec is a vibrant, joyful child, full of curiosity and his energy is contagious. He adores playing with his toys, chasing after his beloved pets, and cuddling with his parents.
The road to recovery for Alec will be long and arduous. He is facing countless medical procedures, therapies, and treatments, all of which come with significant financial burdens. As Alec’s family navigates this challenging journey, they are also grappling with the immense stress of medical bills.

We are reaching out to you, our community, in this time of dire need. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a world of difference for Alec and his family.

Your donations will go towards covering Alec's medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and any additional support he may need during his recovery. Together, we can rally around Alec and his family, offering them the love, prayers, and financial assistance they so desperately need.
Let's come together as a community to give Alec the fighting chance he deserves, to see him back on his feet, smiling and laughing once again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
With love and gratitude, The Barbecho Family
HUGE Thank you to all those who helped Alec from start to finish. We appreciate all that you have done!
“A 3 year old child was discovered unresponsive in a pool at a residence in Crestview today. Upon being pulled from the water, an off-duty EMT performed lifesaving measures on the child until the arrival of OCSO and OCEMS. The child was transported to NOMC by OCEMS. Upon arrival at NOMC an amazing group of medical staff and Med Flight nurses administered life saving efforts and medical intervention. After approximately one hour of being unresponsive medical staff was successful in regaining a pulse and signs of life. The child was stabilized and flown to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
“Outstanding work by every hand that touched the child after such a tragic accident. In all my years, I have never seen such a large group of medical professionals work so seamless and diligent for such a long period of time without ever losing hope or will.” -Lt. Tony Kelly ”
