Hi all- my name is Alec Fletcher and I'm a transgender man (he/they) looking for some financial help with my physical transition. I'm currently chatting with a surgeon about top surgery which is something that I have been waiting for for a long time! My insurance will most likely cover some of it but it is unclear just how much. Along with the funds for the actual procedure, I will need to take some time off of work to heal from surgery which will put me out a few weeks rent money. I am also in the process of beginning a legal name change which costs a decent amount of money itself.  (When I hear back from my surgeon/insurance, I will write out a more concise list of where your money will be going!!)

If you know me then you may know that asking for help is not my strong suit but it is becoming more imperative every day for me to get top surgery and have the name on my ID/passport/social/etc. match my real name. Even a dollar could help me out tremendously. Thank you very much for your support. Trans rights are human rights!
