Alec was thrown from his motorcycle causing the mid section of his body to hit a tree with full force. He was face down and unresponsive. Zachary, his twin, rushed to him to administer life saving measures while his friends guided the paramedics to the location.

He suffered a collapsed lung, broken pelvis, massive bladder and kidney damage. He suffered two broken femur. One being a compound fracture, tearing through his glute muscles around the inner thigh, and tearing his artery.  This compound fracture almost severed his right leg at the groin and thigh. Alec also suffered major knee damage. He tore the ligaments all the way around and currently has an external fixture to keep his knee stable. 

Alec also suffers from a traumatic brain injury and kidney failure from the impact to his mid section.  He has been on dialysis since.

Currently Alec has been in the hospital for 6 weeks with over 15 surgeries, and has several more to go. 

While this is stressful on the family, we don't want our brother/son/grandson/nephew waking up to an immense amount of financial burden.
