Alec Johnson (aka the lollipop man) for hospice
My sister and I are trying to fundraise any money, to give back something for all the care given, during dad's last few weeks of life at Saint catherines hospice. Dad has been struggling with bowel cancer for awhile. As fundraising is the majority of how Saint Catherine's Hospice keeps going ,helping other patients in similar circumstances. They care for the patient and also the patients family, we have stayed with our dad throughout his stay in hospice.
Our Dad has lived in Malton all his life & knows lots of people there through his life & work as a fireman, & the last 20 years he spent working as the lollipop man crossing kids to & from the schools in Peasey Hill. He adored seeing the kids in & out of school & watching them grow up throughout his years there. Our Dad is currently in end of days care we have decided to set this page up now to raise as much money as possible. We have also decided that any collection made at our dad's funeral will also be donated to the Saint Catherine's hospice.
Sending much love and thanks for all your future help donating & sharing this go fund me. Saint Catherine's hospice is a lifeline to so many patients help us help them. X
