Alec Krug is a loving Husband, Father, Son and Co-Worker. He is a HD Mechanic at our Shop in Deadhorse, Alaska. He has been an asset to our company and a reliable team member for the past 4 years.  Alec is a man who is respected by everyone, an all-around great guy to work alongside.   Alec is known for pride in his work, compassion for others, his love of NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) but most of all, the love of his family.

Alec underwent knee surgery in April 2018. Facing hard financial times from his medical leave of 4 months, Alec recovered and was able to return to work. Things were looking up for Alec and his family. On one of his R&Rs home, a horrific incident took place involving Alec’s wife, Laura. Alec has been married to his wife for 30 great years.

Laura suffered a stroke and was forced to be MEDEVAC’d to St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana then onto Inter-Mountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah to treat her extensive medical needs.  With life uncertain and living moment-to-moment, Alec stayed by Laura’s side for 55 days. These 55 days away from home were the start of numerous setbacks, debt, and the beginning of a long road to recovery. Alec and Laura are currently at a skilled Nursing facility located in Billings, Montana. They are facing several challenges ahead, but remain positive and in good spirits despite their given situation.

Life is a journey of unexpected events. It is important to give thanks every day for what we have been given, and more important to keep an optimistic outlook when times are tough.

We have set up this page to help Alec and his family with financial support as they go through this difficult recovery process.
