On behalf of our dear relations Al & Gen Wood, we are asking all of our friends, family, and those we may not know near and far for much needed financial support. Over 30+ years, their dedicated selfless service taking care of people’s prayers through their songs, teachings, and altars have touched countless lives in miraculous ways.

They have driven thousands of miles over decades providing support in whatever way is needed, even when it created hardship for them. Gen’s old Toyota Sienna has served its time, returning from its final prayer service with over 450k miles on the odometer. On the wing of a prayer, they found another used Sienna that is perfect for them. They need $7000 to purchase this van.

Recently the landlord sold their home of 18 years and they have to move by the end of November. They have put a lot of time and resources into their rental with no financial return. They are now in need of a new home and the essential funds to secure rent, deposit, and moving expenses. They need to find a home with land around it so they can have a place to pray and continue to offer their gifts to the community. This will also provide the space Gen needs to grow her groundbreaking canine partnership work to help support this home.

Funds for essential health care are also crucial at this time. Due to years of excessive physical, spiritual, and mental stress, Gen has been suffering from chronic debilitating back pain. At times she is unable to walk.

Aldred’s work as a full-time carpenter is very physically demanding. He also suffers from back pain that affects his ability to work. They cannot afford for him to miss a day’s work. Their survival and livelihood depends on this. They require bodywork, acupuncture, and supplements that insurance does not cover.

It’s now time for us to give back to these treasured relations who have given so much of themselves.
