Our friend,  husband, father, brother, cyclist, athlete, Aldo recently experienced a dibilitating stroke last week and is currently in recovery.  Diagnosed with PFO (patent foramen ovale, small hole in heart) 11 years ago, his physicians believe this was the primary cause of the stroke as well as work related stress.  Because of his healthy and active lifestyle physicians weren't initially concerned about his PFO diagnosis and continued monitoring as well as placed him on a regular baby aspirin regimin.  However, with his recent stroke, doctors may need to look at possible surgery to close the small hole in his heart.  Furthermore, the after effects of the stroke have left him unable to walk without help primarily due to double vision causing his equilibrium to be off.  Recovery will be slow and Amy will be supporting their family of four, while Aldo recovers.  This lovely family needs our help to stay ahead of the mounting bills, possible future surgery, as well as household expenses.  Anything you can do to help Amy, Aldo, Baker and Simon during this difficult time is greatly appreciated!
