Alder Hey Burns Unit

Hi, I’m Pete Cranfield. I’m raising money for Alder Hey Burns Unit by shaving my much loved hair off!

I was under the care of Alder Hey burns unit as a 4 year old, I scalded myself and spent a good amount of time on the burns unit ward and then had regular visits there to keep an eye on my skin graft that I had as a result of my accident.

I have been growing my hair for the past 4 years, it was a dream of mine since being a kid to have long hair like a motorbiker! Over the last two years I’ve totally transformed my body, from being overweight and unhappy with myself to losing 8 stone and actually preparing for to enter my first bodybuilding show.

I have been thinking of ways for a while to raise money for Alder Hey burns unit and I feel like this is a great way to earn them a great amount of money to spend on the particular unit.

I will be forever grateful to the burns unit and I just hope my donation can bring some joy to the poor children that end up having to be there.

Many thanks if you decide to donate. I will have my friend shave off my hair as soon as I hit the target I have set, I will video and photograph the process.
